Free scarf if you attend last home match of the season

It's fairly old news but still news; if you attend the last home match of the season you'll not only get to see the team do a lap of honour but you'll get a free scarf!

The scarf will be a gift from the club and if what happens at the Cleveland Brows is anything to go by you can expect at least one a season.

The scarf will carry the inscription 'Proud History, Bright Future' and will have the new club crest emblazoned on it.

The match is against Sheffield United on May 5th and I suppose the club are hoping for a good send off by offering up the gift.

I know Newcastle and Arsenal have done it, maybe more clubs, but it's a fine idea and hopefully one that will inspire the fans staying away to come back on a more regular basis.

I think a loud Villa Park and a good result will probably sell a few more season tickets than expected the following week. I boring game and quiet Villa Park will only confirm to some that that can maybe wait another season.

Another positive move from the club. A huge sum of cash spent in the summer will be another.

Its definately a new dawn for Villa, i'm really excited to see what happens in the future. Looking back another season when we were under Doug Ellis, and o'leary i never even imagined us to being this situation. i think that us villa fans are in for good times when we look back we will be shamed by our mediocre of present times compared to when we are in the champions league every season. its not fairy tail, its gonna happen! and the Blue noses will hate it, it annoys me when people always criticise Villa fans ambition. its called having faith in something which people are very pationate about, Villa is part of my Life. The scarf event will be historic, as it will the beginning of our superpower status in football. Up The Villa!!!
