I'll stop with the potato themed titles now, it amuses me you know. I'll assume you gathered that and move on...
Quick one today folks as I have a thousand and one things to do before heading to bed for an early night and a 4am start to get my 6am flight for my trip to the Emirates for what is our biggest home match of the season so far.News wise there’s nothing really to add to what we already know, Fabianski has joined the non-walking wounded and we are likely to see Almunia return for what you could almost consider must be last chance saloon for him. Given that he has been relegated to the bench since his return from his ‘chest infection’ you have to assume that if he fucks up tomorrow we will see Mannone restored to goal until Fabianski’s return. Given that this is Arsenal, I am taking the ‘3 week’ estimate on his recovery with a shovel of salt. I’ve said it before, but the goalkeeping position may be one in which we will be fine in a few years time, but at the minute it needs addressed urgently. January is only around the corner, and if we can stay in the hunt til then, we really need to reinforce. You all know who I think we should sign. AKINFEEV!
As if Arsenal needed any more incentive, the way Spuds players have been shooting their mouths off over the past week just amplifies the need to shove their gloating down their throat. Though what they're gloating for I don't quite know. Shouty pointy bloke (as he's known to Spuds fans), Keane is dillusional if he thinks their team is stronger than ours, but to go in to reasons would just add weight to his ridiculous statement.
With no sense of perspective, they are in the lofty heights of fourth, with us coming as their first real test on the road. While it is true that form goes out the window and anything can happen in derbies such as this, if 90% of our starting 11 play to as close to 100% as they can get then we should simply blow them away. Will it be that straight forward? I very much doubt it, but after what happened at home against them in the league last year, we have a few things to set straight.
And that’s that. There’ll be no blog tomorrow (although if I’m feeling lively when I get home I might try and throw something together) as I’m travelling all day, but I plan to get loads
of photos of the Arsenalisation of the Emirates and if I’m so inclined, will include them with Sunday’s blog.
So, let’s have Smash for lunch tomorrow...it’s only fitting. Last one, I promise. Sort of.
Hope it’s a great one folks!

I hope you all have a great time and I wish I was going too. Hopefully the fixtures will be kind and we can get that trip in for the Everton game.
I'll be wearing my lucky Arsenal, socks, jocks, jersey and scarf tomorrow.
Hopefully the Wengerball t-shirt will become a lucky 1 for the future.
If you have Arsenal TV Online you HAVE to watch Wenger's press conference LMAO. If you can't here's why you should:
Journo asks about ex-25 and what he's been saying about Cesc leaving in the Summer, then this:
Journ "Are you dissapointed that he (the ex-25) seems to have an agenda against Arsenal?
Wenger "You are only dissapointed when you have expectations"
Classic (I may have paraphrased, go watch it and find out)
LMAO I've been looking all week for this sort of info all in one place for my 'special project' LINK
Have we seriously only had 14 managers? That's only one more than the Spuds have had since we appointed Wenger LMAO
